The ‘last’ experiments

5. With these ‘last’ tests I wanted to make the final adjustments before printing an entire type family/set. These tests confirmed some last edits to do with line width and speed. Now it is possible to leave a print on without having to continuously adjust the manual print settings on the 3D printer. It also showed me that the post-processing technique was effective.

One big difference with these tests is that I changed the method of what the 3D printed type is attached to print, previously it was a block of wood. With these tests, I attached a piece of adhesive magnetic tape, allowing the type to be placed and printed, then moved and printed in a different composition. This is depicted in the details. This method needs to be refined, but at the moment I prefer this method.
